McKendree University is a private, liberal arts institution established in Lebanon, Illinois. The campus is situated on wooded land spanning 235 acres and features a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including the Marion K. Piper Academic Center, and the Russel E. and Fern M. Hettenhausen Center for the Arts, known as The Hett. Students opting to live on campus at McKendree have the opportunity to choose between three different types of residence halls, traditional-style dorms, suite-style halls, and apartment-style halls. Along with its campus-bound programs, McKendree also offers a wide variety of online programs, with degrees ranging in level from associate to doctoral.
McKendree offers a huge state university education in a small town, close knit package. Tuition isn't fantastic, but there are a ton of scholarship opportunities, and all of McK's scholarships stack, so you can build upon what you've earned. Come and be a Bearcat!

McKendree University has a great atmosphere about it. There's a feeling of family there. It's a smaller college, so I don't feel like a number.
