Morris College is a private, historically black college located in Sumter, South Carolina. The college is career-focused, and offers a number of programs to prepare students for employment, including their Cooperative Education and Call Me Mister programs. For on-campus students lacking resources of their own, each of the school’s residence halls is equipped with a learning center, which contains a mini-library, computers, and laundry services. Students at Morris are required to attend college assemblies, which are held weekly and range in focus from spirituality to academics.
