Mount Marty College offers a liberal arts education with an emphasis on the values of its Benedictine and Catholic affiliation from its scenic hilltop overlooking the Missouri River in Yankton, South Dakota. The college was founded by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart Monastery and the nuns still live on campus and walk amongst students today. Throughout the school year, Mount Marty holds seminars and invites speakers to help students explore their faith and its connection to their education. It also offers the only masters and doctoral program for nurse anesthesia students in all of South Dakota.
