National Louis University is based in Chicago, IL, with satellite locations in Florida and abroad in Poland. NLU has historically stressed the importance of academics in early childhood education and founded the National Parent Teacher Association and the National Kindergarten Movement. It was also the first institution in Illinois to offer a teaching degree. NLU is dedicated to providing a diverse university experience which is proven through their partnerships with the Academy for Urban School Leadership and the Illinois Resources Center.
