Northwestern Michigan College is a public, 2-year institution located in Traverse City. NMC maintains four satellite facilities in the region, including the Rogers Observatory, which is five miles of south of campus and frequently opens for public viewings. On top of the numerous associate degrees NMC offers, the college confers bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees through the NMC University Center partners, which include Michigan State University, Davenport University, and the Great Lakes Maritime Academy. The Traverse City campus is also home to the Dennos Museum Center with its signature Inuit art of the Canadian Arctic collection, a teaching restaurant called Lobdell’s, and the WNMC 90.7 Community Radio station.
Generally good school. Small personal classes with a number of exceptional professors. I love the area and the professors I've had here.

I am a high school student that is duel enrolled at NMC. I love all the help we received at NMC when my Mom and I went for orientation. Its great to be able to do my class through the Internet while in high school and next fall as a high school senior I plan on taking at least 2 classes at NMC.
