Tuition, Cost & Aid

Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

Out-of-State Tuition Out-of-state tuition is the tuition charged by institutions to those students who do not meet the state’s or institution’s residency requirements. Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

The signature product of Leadership, Spiritual Life and Relationship--who could ask for anything more. The girls are beautiful!

There is a cost but that is the case with any private college.
Daniel from Madison, MS
Every school has room for improvement. Oakwood definitely has its imperfections. I know that it is worth every penny because students would not jump through hoops to come back to school if it wasn't. At Oakwood, you don't just get an education that will get you a job. You are being taught how to live in accordance with God's word. You cannot put a price on your own salvation. In teaching you how to live according to God's words, they are helping you to teach others so His love and His words can continue to be spread.
Kelcie from Madison, AL
Oakwood offers many different scholarships which assist freshman getting in and keeping students after their first year. There is also scholarship assistance available for those searching for more funding towards their education.
Amanda from Atlanta, GA
Listen, if you are looking for an unforgettable, memorable, fun, and relationship building, academic focused college experience, look no further because Oakwood is the place!!! You'll have to see for yourself!!
DeMeatria from Whiteville, NC
Oakwood is moderately priced compared to many other private colleges out there. One of the improvements I would suggest is better housing.
