Am learning a lot
This school is absolutely amazing for an educational experience. I am attending an off-site campus and receiving my credit at Oklahoma City Community College. Since being here my knowledge level has changed dramatically, before I knew almost nothing of computers now I can teach people with ease.
Am enjoying being here
The students and staff here are great, the hours are a bit odd for me but other than that I would not trade my amazing experience here for anything.
Bang for the buck
Since it is a community college you spend dramatically less then you would attending a larger school in the area. However the education quality is very high and on par with all the four year institutions in the state.
Tips for prospective students
Prepare for environment similar to that of your high school. Due to small class sizes and driving to school daily it can fill like a more pleasant version of high school. Also while your at OCCC make friends the people here are amazing and will make life long friends.
Great for these types of students
Commuter students and working students will find OCCC the best choice. Many students here have jobs which pay for their school, and in most cases they have extra money after they pay tuition. Weather you are living at home or in your own apartment you can really afford to attend OCCC.

There are so many resources that are helpful in whatever course of study you are in. Learning is made easy when you put your time in your studies.
Am enjoying being here
Yes I never thought going back to college would be this enjoyable. They have flexable schedules for people who live in the real world who don't have time solely for college. That makes it easier for many of us who work and have lives outside of the campus.
Tips for prospective students
Applying is easy and is worth taking the time to do. Having a career in mind will make it easier on the academic advisors in schedule your classes. Even if you don't have a career in mind or don't know what would be suitable for you as a career, they will be able to help in that area.
Great for these types of students
Going to college is greater for you in the future. Education is a powerful tool.

A great school, and one of the cheapest you will find. They have so many resources, anything you need I'm sure you will find it on campus. The instructors are very nice, and always willing to help. If you have any questions about anything, ask!! Even if they don't know, they will tell you who to talk to.
Am enjoying being here
Everyone is very nice, and it is a very nice campus. Everything you need is right on campus.

The campus is nice and lively.
Many of the services are ran by student employees allowing for a nice and no pressured talk, but allows for easy misinformation and problems.
The classrooms are delightfully small and so far 3 out of 4 teachers have been great.
Tips for prospective students
Get your student id card as soon as possible, because you will use it everywhere.
Make use of the computer lab on the 3rd floor of the library, because it has free printing and free computer access.
See how much the book will be used before buying it. If your teacher has something like printable powerpoints and there isn't any homework directly from the book, chances are you will be carrying around an $80 heavy tome that you'll open maybe once out of random curiosity.
Academic Rigor
As long as one comes to class, pays attention to most of the lecture, and studies a little before each test, they should have little to no problem passing the regular 16 week classes. The 8 week and 2 week classes however require much self study and some teachers are not all that interested in whether you succeed or not.
Dorm Life
There aren't any dorms, but the college location is nice.
Food and Dining
The college is near some restaurants and has its own cafeteria and cafe. The items average around $4-$6 for a suitable meal so I keep to my $1-$2 meals from home. From what Ive seen the food is relatively average. The cafe is your basic expensive Starbucks like place.
What to do for fun
The college has a few plays, discussions, and events that go on throughout the semesters. Various clubs offer a few activities now and then as well. There is also a large computer lab with internet access if you have free time between classes. If you are one who finds learning fun, then there is a large library that allows a short rental of the books used in the classes and a language center with free Rosetta Stone.
Bang for the buck
The good
Low tuition for classes that teach as much as classes anywhere else and smaller classes.
Computer and other lab access
Free Rosetta Stone
Able to speak with program adviser for clear and correct information

The bad
Many services are ran by students who may give bad information.
Not all teachers are savvy to the college and also may give bad information.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
There is a rather large pyramid fountain in front of the library.
Great for these types of students
Not worried about being the best but don't want to be thought of as bad. Ones who are satisfied as being good.
Clubs and Activities
There are many going on and Ive attended a few.
Greek Life
o.O?
Campus Safety
Generally easy to find a security guard and I haven't experienced any trouble the semester I've been here
