Attend all of your lectures! The professors have a great wealth of infomation to share with you, but you must attend your classes to take advantage of this infomation. Get to know your professors. Many of them went through the Penn State system themselves and can give you much valuable feedback. Take advantage of the tutoring center. It is incredibly helpful and easy to navigate.
