The small size classes allow for more focused concentration to get projects done. There is a close network of students and instructors. The school's location is great. Major museums such as the Rodin museum, The Barnes Foundation, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art are close by. The Instructors who teach the students are artists in fields of painting, sculpture, and printmaking.
Tips for prospective students
A good intimate school in proximity of many museums. The small class size allows for better concentration. The small size of the school is a perfect fit.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
There used to be a small diner named Yolanda's two blocks from P.A.F.A., on the corner of a tiny street . Most of my class mates gathered here for breakfast or lunch.
Great for these types of students
Artists and aspiring artists.
Clubs and Activities
In addition to being a student we had get together functions at students homes during the summer, and I participated in a softball team created by our department. Attending P.A.F.A. was a very inclusive, and valuable experience.
Campus Safety
