Founded by a Baptist pastor, the Rio Grande Bible Institute is a Christian institution in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas dedicated to providing Biblical education for Spanish-speaking students. RGBI offers a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with concentrations in Pastoral Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Missions, and Christian Education. All classes at RGBI are taught in Spanish. In addition, RGBI spreads the Gospel to areas outside campus through Spanish language broadcasts on its Radio Esperanza stations.
