Seminole State College of Florida is a public, comprehensive institution in Sanford, FL. The main campus hosts the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium as well as UCF at Seminole State, a joint program where the University of Central Florida offers baccalaureate programs on the Seminole campus. Seminole State also operates satellite campuses in Altamonte Springs, Heathrow, and Oviedo, and each features a specialty, such as the Center for Economic Development at the Heathrow. The school is home to several cultural establishments, including the Fine Arts Gallery and Theater, and poetry readings are held on a monthly basis.
