Founded in 1967, Sheridan College is a Canadian polytechnic institute with three campuses in the greater Toronto area, as well as a Skills Trade Centre in Oakville. Sheridan hosts five faculties conferring undergraduate degrees in over 120 academic programs. In addition, Sheridan is home to several research institutions such as the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies, Centre for Elder Research, and Screen Industries Research & Training Center. Sheridan actively promotes a sustainable campus by sending its organic waste to the Harvest Power Plant, as well as cuts down on energy consumption by using centrifugal fans. With all campuses a short distance from Toronto, students have access to numerous attractions including the CN Tower and Royal Ontario Museum.
This college has a small town atmosphere and located near the mountains. It also has a great value for such a great two year education. Last the college offers a great support system for their students.
