What Students Are Saying

There sadly aren't a lot of options when it comes to dining in Ephraim, but there are some awesome places like Roy's Pizza and the Snow Dragon. However there are Denny's Runs, in which students drive 30 to 40 miles to the nearest Denney's in the middle of the night.

Most students live in some kind of dorm. I lived in a sleep/study dorm, which worked great for me. The showers were shared with the rooms on my floor (all female) never had to wait to shower. The kitchen and laundry were shared by everyone in the building. Free laundry, parking, and internet. Internet was faster in my building than most other buildings. I also had a TV in my room. And one of the only buildings with air conditioning. They allow emotional support animals in my building. The light in the hall and by the front door was always on. I constantly had a light shining through my window, to avoid this, choose an odd number room. Great RAs! The closest building on campus was the library. Close to the business building. I lived in Anderson Hall. I hope this was helpful.

There aren't many options for eating out, but the ones they do have are pretty good, like Melana's and Snow Dragon. Everything is pretty close by, which is super nice.

Honestly, the food isn't the best. It isn't bad but it isn't my favorite.

What do you do for fun back at home? Most answer hang out with friends. You do that here too, just with about 4,000 more kids. We have movie theaters and places to explore. Our awesome student council has something going on with the campus almost every week, so there is always something to look forward to.
Alison from Cedar Hills, UT
Like most on-campus dining, the Badger Den is quite expensive. However, there are many food options and the food is good quality. Snow also features a monthly International Food Day. A specific country is featured each month. International students from that country help make the food which is that day's food special. It's super fun!
