What Students Are Saying

the food is okay sometimes its a hit and miss situation. one day its the best food ever and the next its just regular food.
Jacynthia from Austin, TX
Southern University has two dining halls, a Burger king, Sub Way, Popeyes, smoothie stand, and southern cuisine mini restaurant all located on campus. Although there are numerous food options, they do all began to become repetitive.
CM from Mobile, AL
Lots of traditional Louisiana cuisine like red beans and rice, jambalaya, etc. Its good and seasoned well.
Jaci from McDonough, GA
Just like a creole home, Southern offers wonderful food from the Cajun perspective.
Kaylyn from Leesville, LA
Is pretty comfortable and have space to rest and relax on your time free.
Jose from Puerto Rico
Fall semester is AWESOME. Like, there is something going on all the time. Free t-shirts, sometimes free food, HOMECOMING!!! Spring semester starts off kind of dry but then theres like 63839 pageants (not just your typical pageant at all), foam party, spring fest.
