With campus in the heart of Nantahala National Forest, Southwestern Community College is a 2-year college in southwest North Carolina. SCC offers degree and certificate programs in Health Sciences, Career Technologies, and Arts & Sciences, as well as maintains an honors program. To help connect the college to its surrounding community, SCC Cares promotes student community service in three area counties. Between classes, students have the opportunity to explore the college’s nearly two mile walking trail.
