What Students Are Saying

3.68 Average Rating
Although the dining on campus does not offer a wide selection of choices, there are thousands of places to eat in the city that are just minutes away from Suffolk. Students are required to have a meal plan if they choose to live on campus, which can be used at the student's dining hall, along with any other on-campus dining spots in academic buildings and the library. However, having dining halls in both 150 Tremont Street and Miller Hall is very convinient for students, especially in dangerous weather. The cafe in 73 Tremont Street is indefinitely the best on-campus food at the university; they offer a signature salad bar, along with a pressed sandwich bar, which allows students to truly customize their meals. The cafe is also home to Starbucks, a college student's favorite spot to grab a coffee or pastry on the go.

I'm a commuter so I would not know about campus food (although I have not heard good things about it), however, there is PLENTY of delicious food all around Boston to enjoy. I highly recommend Snappy Sushi and Georgetown Cupcake...both on Newbury Street. There is plenty of Chipotle and Panera to enjoy as well!
Rebecca from Warwick, RI
YESSSS! It has good food on campus, but then again, all of Boston is your campus. You are located literally in Downtown Boston, there are so many restaurants literally propped across the street from your dorm, it is ridiculous. You will never lack in the food department. EVER!
Eric from Boston, MA
Food and Dining services are really nice at Suffolk U. The only problems can be price of food (a little expensive sometimes) and hours of the kitchens (limited later on at night, especially weekends). But, otherwise places like the 73 Cafe, Donahue Cafe, Sawyer Cafe, Miller Res Hall Cafe and partnered locations (of which there are many scattered throughout downton Boston) are great to get anything from a quick bit to eat to a full meal. 73 is my personal favorite, the food and the staff are amazing.
Marcus from Bolton Landing, NY
Sodexo has worked to add creative options to the menu (like pasta bars and stir fries). The cafe in Donahue offers sushi and Chinese food and the cafe in 73 Tremont has the BEST salad options and awesome sandwiches - they aren't your regular options and you can do make your own too!
Ariel from Hooksett, NH
The food was great, many choices. I wished I had a few more options but I can't really complain other than the price. Staff was great !
Desiree from Beverly, MA
Suffolk provides meal plans through Sodexo and makes sure all of the students are accommodated no matter what their dietary restrictions are. The best place to get food on campus is 73 Cafe but there are also plenty of places to get food around the general campus area.

Didn't actually eat on campus but heard it was good
