What Students Are Saying

It's challenging, but as I tell most people, it really really really makes your life a whole lot easier if you go to class EVERYDAY and do ALL of your homework. If you blow off your professors your grade will reflect that, if you show up and have a good attitude your grade will reflect that! The classes are also much more personal than most schools. I had a class just this last semester with just five other students!
Ryan from El Paso, TX
Sul Ross offers baseball, football, volleyball, track & field, and rodeo.
Kali from Alpine, TX
Every individual is different, especially when it comes to learning. There were some challenging classes for me that were not challenging to others but some classes I found were not challenging but were difficult to others. The part about it is whether you as a student wants to put effort into the class. Every professor on campus has been very willing to help guide me and tutor me when I wasn't understanding the material.
Liz from El Paso, TX
The teacher are really great! They help students as much as they can. They will work with you on anything and everything you need help with.
Kenya from Tomball, TX
The classes are small and it is easier to connect with your professors. A lot of the time they will even know your name. Just make sure to show up to class because they will know when you are missing, which is a good thing because it will keep you from skipping classes a lot.

Javier from San Elizario, TX
Classes are small so you get an hands on experiences with professor. Professors are very helpful and will work with you.
Casey from Alpine, TX
Its pretty decent seeing that the professors are always willing to help you out in your classes. Stress levels are fairly low because you don't always get pop quizzes or anything too difficult actually. Think of it as high school your teacher wont let you fail they want to see you succeed.
Amisadai from El Paso, TX
The Computer Science degree is one of their best degree programs.
The physics degree program is okay as well.
Study a lot.
Dezmond from Destoto, TX
The faculty provides a challenging curriculum. They are also available to help students one-on-one during office hours.
