With campus a short distance from Lake Huron and the St. Clair River, The Culinary Institute of Michigan is an affiliate of Baker College in Eastern Michigan. All students at the institute study the culinary arts taught by a faculty made up of award winning chefs. To supplement classroom instruction, The Culinary Institute provides hands-on training at the campus student-run restaurant called COURSES. Students can also opt to live on campus, in a residence hall just steps away from classroom facilities.
The teachers at Baker College of Port Huron have been a great help to me as a new student. The computer networking system leaves a bit to be desired. I am a vision impaired type 1 diabetic and have received help with my studies when I have been unable to read certain content such as reading me a quiz in mathematics.
