Founded in 1894, Thompson Rivers University is a private research institution based in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The school operates a satellite campus in Williams Lake. The school provides a “Thomas Guarantee” where students are provided guaranteed tuition, guaranteed to gain employment or entrance into graduate school after graduation, and guaranteed to graduate in four years. TRU has created several sustainability efforts on campus, including campus-wide composting, solar hot water heating systems, water bottle refill stations, and a carpool service.

The campus is beautiful with a real mix of history and modern appeal. The classes are small and intimate. There is always something happening on campus.
