Tulsa Community College is a perfect way to start your academic career, or to get the technical skills you need to start working right away. The the size of the campuses make it easy to navigate between classes, or you can choose online classes so you rarely have to visit the brick and mortar structure, at all. I would recommend TCC to anyone looking for a quality education for a reasonable price, I haven't had any issues with them.
Tips for prospective students
Research the specific teachers online when trying to decide which classes to take. There are many great teachers, and some not so great ones, but the crummy ones are usually revealed by a quick trip to a professor rating website.
Dorm Life
No dorms.
Food and Dining
Best vending machines, ever!
Great for these types of students
Just out of high school, adults, changing careers.

This is a great 2 year college for working adults. I have been able to attend classes in the evenings, on the weekends and online that work with my schedule. The fast track classes make it possible to take a full 12 hours a semester while working full time.
Tips for prospective students
Use the tools the school provides for you. Become familiar with Blackboard and TED as soon as possible and you will succeed.
Dorm Life
This is a two year college and doesn't have dorms

it's a great school with tons of great people. the price is great for the education you will receive. there are people of all ages there so don't be afraid if you are getting up there, age wise.
Tips for prospective students
ask current students for professor recommendations. don't be afraid to take honors classes because they are small, the profs usually have their doctorates, and the classes are much more in-depth. get into the honors program, you can get 13,000 a year if you plan to transfer to university of tulsa.
Academic Rigor
this really depends of the professor and the class you are taking. if you are wanting to be pushed then take honors classes. ratemyprofessor.com is a great resource, as well as current students. if you want easier classes then just ask current students.
Food and Dining
the food is great and depends on which campus you go to. the southeast and metro locations has a bill & ruth's and the prices aren't too bad.
What to do for fun
tulsa is not a college town but there's a lot of fun things to do. cain's ballroom is a great venue and there's all sort of clubs. you just have to do a google search.
Bang for the buck
great education for a great price. if you live in tulsa county check out tulsa achieves. you great everything free except books. it's an awesome deal.
Great for these types of students
if you don't have a lot of money for school because your parents make too much for aid but not enough to really help. for students who may want to save money by living at home or aren't really ready to leave. you can get use to a college set up but be in the comfort of home.
Clubs and Activities
check out their website tulsacc.edu
Campus Safety
all you have to do is call campus police if you don't feel safe walking to your car at night. there is a visible presence. even at northeast in north tulsa i felt safe.

Tips for prospective students
I would suggest that anyone who enrolls at Tulsa Community College to be sure and start their Financial Aid Process and apply for admissions as far as three months in advance in order to have plenty of time to prepare for courses and having your classes secured by the Financial Aid department to avoid delays on enrollment etc.
Academic Rigor
In the few semesters I've been enrolled at Tulsa Community College, I feel my eyes are opened up to new things that I never imagined I would accomplish. I recommend T.C.C. to anyone who wants to change their life for the better and have a great sense of accomplishment while doing so.

I'm learning a lot a TCC. Right now i'm taking an old testament class and its so interesting. I'm learning a lot about the bible then i knew before.
Am enjoying being here
I like at TCC (southeast campus) Its very pretty and quite. I recently moved to Tulsa so i really didn't know anyone so i joined a club. The BCM club is a BLAST and so are the people.
Bang for the buck
I heard that if you have lived in Tulsa your whole life college is free. I'm not sure about that, but since i just moved here, I applied for residency (out of state tuition was TOO much money) and all classes are affordable.
Tips for prospective students
Make sure you put the time in to talk to someone about what classes to take and make some type of schedule and a college plan for yourself. The administration is not going to go to you. You have to go to them.
Great for these types of students
If your determined about getting your basics and succeeding in school, then this is the college for you. Its very laid back and is a campus anybody from any background would enjoy.

Did learn a lot
I had an o.k. teacher, didnt really go out of his way to teach.
Did enjoy being here
Everyone here is nice, the staff is great but the information desks and reception needs to get worked on, they were sending me everywhere.
Bang for the buck
Its a community college, need I say more?
Tips for prospective students
Do NOT apply if your not gonna be able to attend! I am paying for a class I never stepped foot in because their phones have problems, their website crashes half the time and was unable to go to drop my class!
Great for these types of students
Someone on a budget or wants to get their credits without paying an arm and a leg.

Am learning a lot
This is my third semester at Tulsa Community College and I can honestly tell you that I am learning a lot.
Am enjoying being here
The southeast campus is amazing! It is clean, the staff is--for the most part-- nice and helpful, and the campus police are extremely helpful and definitely make me feel safe.
Bang for the buck
The books are very expensive but the tuition is pretty cheap.
Tips for prospective students
Definitely go to www.ratemyprofessor.com and look up the teachers before you pick them. Do NOT wait until last minute to sign up for classes because the best teachers go first!
Great for these types of students
Concurrent enrollment High School students,
Students who just want their basics before transferring,
Home school students who are entering a public school for the first time,
Students who do not like being in an extremely large class,
Students who are on low-income budgets and simply need an education for less money
