What Students Are Saying

The professors are very helpful, most of them do have really hard assigments, but they do so to really see who is trying in class which has helped me alot. The tutoring is amazing and the tutors really kmow what they're talking about.
Devin from Victoria, TX
Depending on the professor, classes can be somewhat daunting or rather easy. Because I take online classes, there really isn't a choice in which professor I get for a certain class.
Tammy from Roanoke, TX
The professors demonstrate that they care about their students progress by sending emails at times about their academic progress. The students will also get to know their grades in advance by the majority of the professors to see where they academically stand. Professors demonstrate order by providing students with a syllabus at the beginning of the semester which lists rules, expectations and assignments and tests that will have to be completed during the semester. The professors are also very lenient especially when it comes to textbooks.
Esther Bazaldua
4 stars because no place is perfect, but UHV staff know how to come extremely close due to the attention they offer.
