University of Wisconsin in River Falls is a public, liberal arts institution in the western region of the state. About 30 minutes from the Twin Cities, the 303-acre campus is home to four colleges offering 70+ areas of study on the banks of the Kinnickinnic River. UW-River Falls students can take advantage of undergraduate research opportunities, study abroad programs, internships, and the customized honors curriculum, as well as the Scholarship Guarantee, a monetary award to students demonstrating strong academic potential. On top of the main campus, UW-River Falls also maintains a satellite location in Hudson and two laboratory farms also located in the River Falls area. Outside of academia, students can take advantage of the more than 150 student clubs and organizations at UWRF or venture off-campus to nearby cities.
