Utah Tech University
Originally founded as a Mormon academy, Utah Tech University is a public university in southwest Utah. Utah Tech confers bachelor’s degrees in 52 academic majors and is also home to 19 associate degree-granting programs. In addition to classroom space, the university hosts the DSU Regional Computer Crime Institute which provides professionals and students with computer-based forensics training. For students looking to enjoy the outdoors, Dixie State averages over 300 days of sunshine every year and its Outdoor Adventures department sponsors excursions for activities such as kayaking and hiking.
