Formerly known as Wyoming Technical Institute, Wyotech is a for-profit college training technicians in the automotive and diesel industry. Wyotech features three core programs in automotive, diesel, and collision and refinishing technology as well as six specialty programs and all classes include simultaneous hands-on training in an auto shop. With this immersive training, Wyotech grads transfer from the classroom to a job in as little as nine months. The institute’s location in Laramie, Wyoming, provides the opportunity to get away from the classroom through outdoor activities such as rock climbing, fishing, and snowmobiling.
