Young Harris College is a private liberal arts school situated in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. All undergraduate students must complete a core curriculum that includes public speaking and composition. Favored majors include communications, psychology, and creative writing. YHC is home to the Campus Gate Art Gallery and the O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium.

Young Harris has the most helpful staff and teachers, which was not what i heard college was going to be like. Being located in the mountains it has an extremely beautiful campus all year round that I miss even over the summers at home. Great biology program that gives a hands on experience with great classes.
