Cappex Application Recommendation Letters

In College Admissions on Jun 30, 2016

As you're filling out your college applications, you'll notice most schools ask you to submit one or two recommendation letters from counselors, teachers, mentors or other adults who know you well and can vouch for your work ethic or academic performance.

Depending on the type of application you're filling out, you may need to submit these separately from the rest of your application. However, if you're applying via the Cappex Application, you'll be able to everything within one platform.

Simply put the email addresses of the people writing your recommendation letters into the Cappex Application when prompted, and those people will receive an email asking them to upload the recommendation letter. You'll be notified when they do so, so you can be sure your application is 100 percent complete.

No more chasing down your counselor, asking for a letter and then waiting for them to mail it in; now your recommender will get an automated email and be able to easily upload your letter to the Cappex Application. All you need to do is enter the email addresses.

Do you need to come back and finish the application after your counselor or teacher has finished uploading your recommendation letter? Nope! As long as you've finished the application and didn't plan on saving and coming back to it later, you'll be good to go.
