The Most Popular FAFSA Videos

on January 6, 2017

There are several popular videos about how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Some of the best videos are produced by the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). These helpful videos include a great introduction to the FAFSA, 7 Easy Steps to the FAFSA, as well as in-depth videos about specific FAFSA topics, such as the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. Find more videos at the UCSB YouTube Channel.

Of course, the U.S. Department of Education publishes several videos about financial aid and the FAFSA in the U.S. Department of Education’s YouTube Channel. The most popular FAFSA videos from the U.S. Department of Education include:

Khan Academy publishes a video that provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the FAFSA and a similar video for the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE form.

U.S. News Education published a video about Common FAFSA Mistakes.

On the lighter side, there are a few fun videos about filing the FAFSA, including Five Minute FAFSA, a rap video about the FAFSA (and another rap song about the FAFSA from FAME) and a video about a sock puppet seeking financial aid. (Note that the latter video is specific to Fresno Pacific University.) There are also several FAFSA videos from College Humor, including a FAFSA game show video featuring first lady Michelle Obama and The Real Truth About Financial Aid.

Financial Aid Acronym Fun is a video that pokes fun at the alphabet soup of financial aid terminology in the style of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
