Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest – This contest is for students registered as full-time juniors or seniors at accredited four-year colleges or universities. Applications are due December 19. The award amount ranges between $500 - $5,000.
CTIA Wireless Foundation Drive Smart Contest – Applicants must create a digital short to convince their peers not drive distracted. Applications are due December 19 and the scholarship award amount ranges between $1,000 - $10,000.
Girlterest Scholarship Program for Young Women – This scholarship is open to women who are currently enrolled in high school, college, or graduate school. Applicants must submit a minimum 500-word essay on one of the following topics: "What Feminism Means to Me," "Body Image in Social Media," or "The Philosophy Behind Beauty." Applications are due December 30. The award amount for this scholarship is $1,000.
Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Youth Scholarship Program – This scholarship is meant to engage young people from around the world in environmental clean-up and conservation projects. Applicants must conduct their own local environmental stewardship project, take digital photos of the project in action, and write an essay about the project. The award amount for this scholarship is $850 and applications are due December 31.
2016 Future of Assisted Living Scholarship – Applicants must submit an essay answering the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town? Scholarship applications are due December 31 and the award amount is $2,000.
Bright!Tax Global Scholar Initiative – This scholarship is for US students who plan to/are studying abroad outside the US. The award amount is $1,000 and applications are due December 31.
Spend Your Cheddar Better Scholarship – Sign up to play a "Would You Rather" text message game to be entered to win this $5,000 scholarship. Applications are due December 31.
Guardian Debt Relief Scholarship – This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students who submit an essay on the provided topic. Applications are due December 31 and the scholarship award amount is $1,000.
State of the American Mind Essay and Video Contest – Applicants must either write an essay or create a video responding to given topics related to changes in America. Applications are due December 31. The scholarship award amount ranges between $2,000 - $5,000.
Life Face Publications Scholarship Program – This scholarship is for female undergradue and graduate students who submit an essay. The scholarship award amount is $500. Applications are due December 31.
