The following scholarships have deadlines in July:

 

Migrant Farmworker Baccalaureate Scholarship

 

• Award: $20,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for migrant farm worker students who have successfully completed one year at an accredited college or university. To qualify, applicants must have a recent history of movement for agricultural employment and demonstrate scholastic achievement and financial need.
 

Minority Scholarship Award for Incoming College Freshmen

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are entering college in the fall. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be members of a minority group that is underrepresented in chemical engineering, such as African American, Hispanic, Native American or Alaskan Native. Applicants must plan to enroll in a four-year college or university offering a science/engineering degree. Applicants are encouraged to choose classes leading to a degree in chemical engineering.

 

AIM Academic Scholarship Program

 

• Award: $2,500
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for current members of the ATA and AIM who have shot 500 registered targets. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA. Please submit three reference letters and an essay on how shooting has contributed to your academic success.

 

Chris Massman General Education Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Applicants must submit an essay in order to be considered.

 

ParadigmNY General Education Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Applicants must submit an essay to be considered.

 

International Women in Media Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for high school seniors and current college students who are interested in journalism. The application involves creating a web page outlining the accomplishments of a notable female journalist.

 

American Pavilion General Education Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for college students who are currently enrolled in an accredited institution. To apply, applicants must submit an essay about their education goals and plans for the future.

 

IP Video Contest

 

• Award: $5,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for individuals ages 13 years and older residing in the United States, the District of Columbia and territories and possessions of the United States. To apply, applicants must create a video of no more than 60 seconds in length that answers one of four given questions related to patented inventions. Applicants between the ages of 13 and 18 must be enrolled full-time in an accredited secondary, college level or trade school. Applicants who are home schooled are also eligible to participate.

 

KB Delta Scholarship Program

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for college students who are currently enrolled in an accredited institution. Applicants must submit an essay to be considered.

 

Alpine Recovery Lodge Scholarship Essay Contest

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: To apply for this scholarship, students must submit an essay on how addiction has directly affected them.

 

John D. Spurling OBE Scholarship for Responsible Pet Ownership Education

 

• Award: $2,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for full-time students enrolled in education programs that include responsible pet ownership in their curriculum. Individuals pursuing studies in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology, physical therapy, animal care, animal behavior, grooming and training could be eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree or certification program at an accredited U.S. institution. Awards are based on scholastic record and academic merit, community experience with responsible pet ownership and letters of recommendation.

 

General Science and Engineering Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. To apply, applicants must submit an essay about their academic goals and ambitions after graduation.

 

Future Leaders of Law Scholarship

 

• Award: $500
• Deadline: 7/30/17

• Description: This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in college in the U.S. and who have declared law-related major or enrolled in law school. Applicants must have demonstrated rigor in his or her studies and a record of contributing to his or her school community.

 

Supporting STEM Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/30/17

• Description: This scholarship is for students with a declared major in the STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) field. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must submit 150-word answers to five questions. Award amount will be paid out in two $500 installments.

 

Quanta Picosecond Laser Annual Scholarship

 

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 7/31/17

• Description: This merit-based scholarship is for students who will be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the upcoming school year. To qualify, applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be pursuing an education in engineering, physics, medicine, nursing, biology or other applied or natural science field.

 

Evolve IP Cloud Scholarship

 

• Award: $500 to $1,000
• Deadline: 7/31/17

• Description: This scholarship is for students who are enrolled full- or part-time at an institution of higher education. Applicants must plan to pursue a career in the field of technology or computer science. Recipients will be selected based on need, academic background and demonstrated leadership. One $500 and one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.
