KidGuard Essay Scholarship for Universities

• Award: $1,000 for winner, $500 for finalist
• Deadline: 9/29/17
• Description: Applicants are asked to write an essay on whether social media truly connects us or about whether teachers and schools should have the authority to regulate students social media accounts.


Airman Scholarship and Commissioning Program

• Award: 18,000
• Deadline: 9/1/17
• Description: To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be U.S. citizens, under 31 years of age and be in good academic standing. You need a recommendation from immediate commander, financial statement showing resources adequate to pay college living expenses, admittance to a school offering Air Force ROTC and the academic major of scholarship and at least one remaining year of college is required for this scholarship. Disability Scholarship

• Award: $500
• Deadline: 9/15/17
• Description: This scholarship is for disabled students and nondisabled students that assist other students who are disabled. Applicants must submit a visual poem, in the style of their choosing, on the topic of how using disability aids has added vitality to your life. Students must also submit a 500 to 1,000-word personal statement that helps us understand who you are and how your poem relates to adding vitality to your life through disability aids.


Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 9/30/17
• Description: Applicants must submit 140-character message about texting while driving.


Cameron Impact Scholarship

• Award: Full tuition and qualified educational expenses
• Deadline: 9/15/17
• Description: This scholarship is for members of the Class of 2018 who are planning to attend a four-year institution in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must demonstrate active participation in community service and extracurricular activities, as well as be motivated leaders and have strong work ethics. This is a four-year, full-tuition merit-based scholarship.


EdTA President's Leadership Scholarship

• Award: $1,000
• Deadline: 9/1/17
• Description: This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are inducted members of the International Thespian Society. Emphasis is placed on the student’s troupe involvement, demonstrated leadership abilities and demonstrated leadership experiences both in and out of school. Financial need will be considered, but lack of need will not be a deciding factor.


MyWebHostingReviews Scholarship

• Award: $200-$500
• Deadline: 9/8/17
• Description: Students must be accepted to or currently enrolled in a college or university. Applicants are asked to submit an essay about the precautions that need to be taken before choosing a web hosting company. Research Grant

• Award: $1,500
• Deadline: 9/30/17
• Description: This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled at a college or university in the U.S. Applicants must write an essay on how to raise awareness of the effects of video game addiction. Students are also asked to submit a research outline on their experiment.


ZipRecruiter Scholarship

• Award: $3,000
• Deadline: 9/30/17
• Description: This scholarship is for current college or university students in the U.S. Applicants must submit a short essay answering one of three given questions. Students can use images, infographics and diagrams in addition to text in their submissions.
