Marquette University is a 4-year, Jesuit institution located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Comprised of 11 colleges and schools, which include a School of Dentistry, Law School, and College of Nursing, Marquette offers 83 majors and 81 minors just for undergraduate students. The university is also home to a number of academic centers and institutes, including the Les Aspin Center for Government, the Center for Water Quality, and the Institute for the Transformation of Learning.
Marquette is a place where you can be challenged academically but still enjoy your classes. The topics, even the ones required in the Core of Common Studies, are interesting and will definitely help you in the future. The professors not only teach you the required information but also life lessons that you will use in the future. You meet life long friends here as well as people you only dreamed of meeting. I was pretty shy when I first came to college and I was afraid that I was not going to meet new people. However, I met one of my best friends at orientation! Even though Marquette is a mid-sized school, it feels like home.

Marquette has a very nice atmosphere that makes it feel like a small school but is big enough to be social. The academic rigor is high, I would recommend it to all health science majors. The opportunities here are endless and the school is very well connected with the surrounding community.
