North Carolina State University is a public land-, sea-, and space-grant research university located in the state capital, Raleigh, home of the annual state fair and Winterfest. The largest university in the Carolinas by enrollment, NC State is home to 12 colleges and an entire research park, Centennial Campus, which is comprised of 75 university centers, institutes, and departments with 76 industry, government, and nonprofit partners. NC State’s Raleigh location also hosts the Gregg Museum of Art and Design, a Craft Center, and a number of “hallowed places,” such as the Memorial Tower and Free Expression Tunnel.
NC State is a large school with a small school feel. You can walk around campus and always see a familiar face. There are always new people to meet as well.

NC State is a great place to start your college education. A university that offers many subjects; and if you're undecided, there are many programs that will help you make your decision. Recommended for any engineer majors.
