Located on the high Laramie plains near the Snowy Range Mountains, the University of Wyoming is a land-grant institution and the state’s flagship institution. To provide a visual study aid for students in science and engineering programs, UW is home to the state’s only 3D Visualization Center. In addition to classroom space, the campus hosts the University of Wyoming Geological Museum and Art Museum.

the university is good; it has a beautiful campus, nice friendly people, good teachers and a great surrounding community. the weather is a bit of a downside, and the surrounding community however is small if that is a concern.
