Drama and Dance Teacher Education

Some people are born to perform on stage. But even the most talented actors and dancers didn't get where they are now without any help. Majoring in drama and dance teacher education will allow you to teach and inspire young talent, even when the odds are stacked against them in a competitive field. A drama and dance teacher education major gives you the expertise to teach at all different levels. And while you may love both fields, you'll have the opportunity to specialize in one or the other, based on your talents and interests. With a little bit of creative thinking, this major can open up multiple career opportunities. You may end up as an elementary, middle, or high school teacher, or even as a private instructor. Alternatively, you may find yourself working as an actor, backup dancer, choreographer, director, or recreational therapist.
