Family Psychology

A family psychology major prepares you to provide evaluative and therapeutic services to families. The major provides detailed instructions about natural family systems, therapies, assessment/interviewing techniques, diversity issues, family law, and standard ethics practiced in the field. Once you've graduated, you'll be able to choose from diverse career opportunities. You can pursue a career in specialized fields like child welfare, youth counseling, and juvenile corrections.
