In addition to honing their technical skills, students explore the world of dress and fashion to develop an understanding of how social, political, and technological events have impacted current and past trends.Fashion design graduates emerge with the skills necessary to create collections for domestic and global markets. Some graduates start their own business quickly after earning their degree, while many others get their start by working for established designer labels, design teams for retailers, and clothing and textile manufacturers.
