Russian Language and Literature

Onion domes. Soviet history. The Cold War. Eastern Orthodox Christianity. There are dozens of reasons people have an interest in Russia's history and culture. What better way to become intimately acquainted with it than graduating with a Russian language and literature major? Degrees in this field cover vast territory - much like Russia itself. Course include Russian language, literature, philosophy, arts, and business. The program may seem restrictive, but there are many ways a graduate can use a major in Russian language and literature. After college, they sometimes find themselves working in the education or nonprofit sectors. You may also be able to find work as a translator, interpreter, journalist, or government employee.
