    Visit the campus at least once and tour your school of choice. Don't be blinded by the pretty stuff such as the Senior Walk, calling the hogs, etc. Dorms, food plans, tuition costs, etc. should be your priority when picking a school! There is a… more read full review

    Visit the campus at least once and tour your school of choice. Don't be blinded by the pretty stuff such as the Senior Walk, calling the hogs, etc. Dorms, food plans, tuition costs, etc. should be your priority when picking a school! There is a very strong Greek life presence and trust me, you will see the people involved in Greek life all over town. They own the social life at the U of A and if you aren't a part of it.. they pretty much look down upon you. They also give the U of A a really bad party school reputation and a fraternity just got kicked off campus not even three weeks ago for violence and racial problems. If you are from out of state you might want to prepare yourselves. Even if you get a tuition break, the costs add up for out of state students quickly and a college in state might actually be a lot cheaper. For example; you still pay a transportation fee even if you are from out of state and bring your car to campus with you. Both of my cousins found this out when it was too late. The University has a major problem with letting in more out of state students than students from in state and many students that are native to Arkansas harbor resentment for this reason.     The room advisors are friendly and involved with their residents and the dorm are fantastic. Although some seemed a bit small for the price. read full review
