Academically the University of La Verne is improving and elevating to be a better insitution every year. As a current Biology major the science program has a great staff filled with professors and counselors, who are always attentive, helpful and forthright. Transferring from a local JC to the University of La Verne has been very good self choice for me academically. Because of the academic rigor held at ULV, my grades have tremendously improved and I couldn't be more pleased. Plus with the surrounding city the environment is calm, which I love and as for on campus, meeting nice people is always a guarantee. The University of La Verne is a fun, peaceful and calm insitution. You will enjoy your experience here. read full review

Communicate with your academic advisors as much as you can they will guide you without bias for the major they are in charge of. Also, it is an expensive schools so if you want to apply without the worry of loans apply to scholarships, because I regret not having applied to scholarships before attending. After I found out how much I still needed to pay I cried a couple of times and in the end I had to get school loans. So apply apply apply!!!!!!! read full review
