go with an open mind and a willingness to try new things- bsu is a great place to gain experience in many areas beyond your major. there's also plenty of opportunity to try your hand at various outdoor activities. step out of your comfort zone! communication is key. ask questions in class and email your professors when you have a problem. all of my professors so far have been quick to respond and have been extremely helpful. plus, some professors will be more likely to make adjustments/make exceptions to your grades if you make the effort to get to know them. the latter point isn't guaranteed, but is definitely a possibility! be involved. bsu has a lot to offer to those who take the time to participate within the school or within heir department. specifically, more involvement means more scholarships become available to you. read full review
