The food here is absolutely terrible, and I just can not spin it otherwise. All freshmen are required to have meal plans (min. $1000), but a smart person avoids eating on campus. Cafeteria food is cooked from frozen, served on dirty plates, loaded with extra fat and salt.... you name it. The only other food options are the Pub, which serves cooked-from-frozen fast food, a pizza place open only after 8 PM, and very (very!) expensive sandwiches/wraps/salads at the school convenience store. There is just no way to eat healthy, tasty, clean food on campus. I now eat entirely out of my dorm, with a minifridge and a microwave. read full review

A lot of people may try to hate on the cafeteria food, but that's because they've become a bit jaded to it. The food is great, and always has a great variety. The only thing i can say, is to not wait until the last second to go get food, because at that point, some of the food may not be as good as it could be. Also, included in the meal plan are vouchers for the restaurant on campus, called the Pub. (and no, this does not mean it has alcohol. nice try.) The food there is always cooked for you after you order, and the wait time is reasonably short, and the only exception is the lunch rush when there could be ten orders in line to be filled at a time, all of which are trying to be made at the same time. Even then, the wait is only a few minutes longer than normal. read full review
