Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there are 21 different dorms and 10 dining halls. Each have their benefits and drawbacks, but the styles and locations of each fit the personalities of any MSU student. Let the record state though that most (typically all) freshman are required to live in dorms due to the low number of commuter parking spots on campus. Extra tip: Pick a dorm by its proximity to your classes rather than whether or not it has a dining hall. One of the biggest perks of attending MSU is the dining options. First, we have unlimited swipes to the dining halls. Second, we have what seems like unlimited dining halls placed around the campus. We also have the luxury of using combos everyday that scores us items at our school stores like pop-tarts, chips, and water (included in tuition). read full review
