George R. and Martha Means Entrepreneurial Studies Scholarship

Scholarship Description
George R. Means graduated from Illinois State University in 1929 with a degree in Geography. He and his wife Martha have endowed this scholarship in the expectation that it will motivate and encourage students to prepare for successful careers in entrepreneurship and small business management. For incoming freshmen majoring in entrepreneurship and small business management; up to three $1,000 non-renewable awards. Candidates must have: At least a 3.0 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale; Rank in the top quarter of their high school graduating class or have an ACT composite score of 24 or above or equivalent SAT score. Apply by March 1.
