Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo Educator Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- The Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo Educator Scholarship was established in January 2010 by Anthony Notorangelo in honor of Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo, a 1940 graduate of Harris Teachers College, to honor her many years of service as an elementary school teacher. The $3,000 per semester scholarship for incoming and continuing students may be applied to cover full-time, in-state tuition, up to 16 credit hours; admission fees; required textbooks and to the extent possible, some incidentals. The scholarship recipient is chosen based on academic excellence, community service, a showing of a sincere desire and passion to teach at any level, pre-K through high school.

- If funds are available, a recipient who remains continuously enrolled may receive this scholarship for a total of eight semesters as long as he or she maintains a 2.7 CGPA while completing at least 12 credit hours per semester and continuing to make unconditionally satisfactory academic progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Teacher Education.
