General Scholarship Awards

Scholarship Description
All students admitted to Davidson are automatically considered for General Scholarships on the basis of the strength of their admission applications. Awards range from $2,000 to $15,000 annually and can be renewed for the recipient’s remaining three years at the college, provided grade point average and progress toward degree requirements are met. No separate scholarship application is required for these awards. Once academic excellence is established, General Scholarships may also be awarded with additional preferences that include: first-generation students, scholar-athletes, students from specific geographic regions, students with specific academic interests, students with leadership skills or a significant commitment to service, and others.
