Albert J. Bowley Scholarships

Scholarship Description
From a fund donated in 1944 by Mrs. Jessie Ball DuPont, two scholarships were established as a memorial to her brother-in-law, Lieutenant General Albert J. Bowley, DSM. These scholarships are to be awarded to descendants of General Bowley’s father, Freeman S. Bowley, should any enroll at the Virginia Military Institute. Second preference is given to a cadet from California and a cadet from the Northern Neck of Virginia.
