This scholarship is for LGBT students who are interested in pursuing a career in patent law. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled for the 2013-2014 academic year at an ABA-accredited law school, be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar Exam, and demonstrate strong academic achievement through their academic career. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must include a resume and a personal statement of 500 words or less explaining why they wish to pursue a career in patent law and how their background and/or life experience would improve diversity in the field of intellectual property law. Applications will be accepted between June 1 and July 31, 2013.
