This scholarship is for all students pursuing a post K-12 education, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, or any other characteristics/orientations that identify applicants as part of a minority group. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school graduates (or an equivalent) or have graduated by the scholarship selection date; be accepted to an accredited post K-12 institution of higher learning prior to the scholarship selection date; and be US citizens or citizens of a recognized US territory. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic ability (30% of score), financial need (30%), volunteer/community service (15%), special achievements/academic honors (5%), extracurricular activities (5%), and individual future goals and objectives (15%).
