This scholarship is for college-bound high school students who are legally blind. To qualify, applicants must plan to attend a college accredited by a body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and be able to provide documentation of academic achievement, proof of legal blindness and US citizenship, three letters of recommendation, and two personal statements. Scholarships are awarded based on strong academic accomplishments and merit. Applications are accepted from students at the end of their junior year, with recipients selected and scholarships awarded the following academic year; applications must be received by January 15 of the applicant's senior year.
