Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in a journalism- or communications-related discipline. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be current NABJ members, have a 3.0 GPA or higher, and demonstrate a record of community service. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay of 1,000-2,000 words on the following topic: "What are the top three reasons you would like to pursue a career in journalism and what do you hope your legacy as a journalist will be?"
